You've probably heard a lot of buzz lately about the latest toy phenomenon sweeping the nation. Of course I am talking about Zhu Zhu pets. Pronounced like "Zoo animals" are battery-powered hamster, hamster wheels around on the leaves traces, that the owner sits down for her. The company is billing it as like a real hamster, but without the mess.
Obviously, that is a selling point is meant, "with the parents of the target market appealthe children, because I do not really think that the children take care a lot about the chaos that the real hamster, or real pets leave behind.
Zhu Zhu Pets are looking real enough, and yes, very clever, they flit around the small habitrail tracks, which are sold in parts, in a modular way, by the company. However, what is the real purpose of a pet? There is camaraderie. There is interaction. It is in a position to the little creature up to the chin;in order to snuggle against the cheek, heat and movement and a heart to feel. To see little eyes look back at you with the knowledge, if you look in them. This is what sticks out of loneliness, that's what our society is what makes us love our pets, our real pets, and not only play with them.
As a result, Zhu Zhu pets can offer very good for what they really are - a cute little toy that hours of entertainment for a child witha good imagination. But just like an animal without the mess? Sorry. That has not been invented yet.
